A newly NIH-funded Postdoctoral Fellow position (up to 5 years) is available in Dr. Wu's laboratory, the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes, Department of Pediatrics; of Cellular and Molecular Physiology, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Research in the laboratory is broadly focused on how elevated androgen regulates metabolic (insulin resistance in liver and other energy storage tissues) and reproductive function that affects up to 20% of women worldwide with female mouse. Mentor team is available for the candidate. We will support the right fellow to 1) be the primary authors on their work; 2) apply for fellowship; 3) achieve the goal of their career development. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree and should be highly motivated, be able to work both independently and collaboratively and show excellent critical thinking, scholarly ability and good written and communication skills.  Send application letter, CV, and three relevant letters of recommendation to: Sheng Wu, PhD, swu24@jhmi.edu.  Salary (NIH scale) will be commensurate with level of experience (starting from $50,000) plus benefit.
