Tenure Track Faculty Position:

The Department of Cancer Biology, under new leadership of Dr. Shrikant Anant invites applications for a tenure-track faculty positions. We seek outstanding scientists performing basic and/or translational research at any level in the broad areas of tumor pathobiology and tumor microenvironment. Applications from funded individuals are encouraged. The applicant will be expected to establish and maintain an independent, externally-funded research program and to participate in the teaching activities of the department, including the teaching of medical students and graduate students. We invite applications for candidates with an interest in the areas of tumor-stroma or tumor-bone interactions, angiogenesis, cell signaling, cancer prevention, invasion/metastasis, cancer stem cells or cancer genetics. Departmental members are highly collaborative with a wide range of research with interests ranging from basic research to translational studies. Members also have affiliations with the NCI-designated University of Kansas Cancer Center (KUCC), placing the group alongside other research groups world-renowned for their contributions to cancer biology, and human health.
