Postdoctoral Fellow in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Cancer Genomics and Proteomics
Huang Lab | Computational Omics @ Mount Sinai NYC
We are recruiting postdoctoral research scholars from the field of computational biology, computer science, and/or mathematical modeling. Successful candidates are expected to lead and support research projects, serve as a domain expert in internal and external collaborations, and effectively present research results through manuscripts, grant proposals, and conference presentations.
Our team conducts computational omics research to illustrate detailed molecular wirings of cancer and human diseases at a systematic scale, aiming to innovate in disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. We maintain core values and it is important that they align with yours as well: (1) scientific curiosity (2) biomedical advancement (3) responsible integrity (4) effective teamwork, and (5) persistent optimism.
Currently-active projects in the Huang | Computational Omics Lab focus on predisposition genomics, immunogenomics, proteogenomics integration, and phosphoproteomics of cancer. The team has established strong networks in national consortia (ex. TCGA, CPTAC) and internal collaboration that the candidate can further build on. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds with relevant skill sets to apply and will consider specific research proposals as well.
Postdoctoral fellows enjoy additional support in career development, health benefits, subsidized housing, and recreation.
Please send your CV, GitHub (or code), and demo/portfolio/code/presentation of one of your interesting projects (from any field, does not have to be in your science) to firstname.lastname@example.org
