Assistant Professor/Associate Professor Cancer Biology

Applications are invited for multiple tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. We are seeking outstanding scientists working at the cellular and/or molecular level on topics relevant to cancer biology and experimental therapeutics to expand and complement the current strengths of the department. The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences is experiencing a phase of growth and expansion with its precision cancer research and treatment initiative, offering opportunities for translational cancer research and collaborations with physician scientists at both the Eleanor N. Dana Cancer Center at the University of Toledo Health Science Campus and Promedica Health Systems.

Candidates for Assistant Professors are expected to have a substantial record of research accomplishments, demonstrated potential in competing for grant funding, and willingness to contribute to graduate and medical education. Applicants at the rank of Associate and Full Professor are expected to have significant grant funding from NIH or other national agencies. Newly renovated laboratory spaces and generous start-up funds will be provided and commensurate with rank and accomplishments.
