We are looking for a postdoctoral scholar highly motivated to study host-pathogen interaction, with an emphasis on understanding norovirus biology to develop novel therapies. Candidates should have completed a doctorate level degree and have a strong background in microbiology, virology and/or immunology, preferably related to innate immunity and myeloid cells. The successful candidate should have documented success in research, including publications on relevant topics in well-respected journals. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications.
Potential projects are to investigate
1. anti-microbial mechanism against the replication compartment of positive-sense RNA viruses
2. the effect of enteric viral infection on the immune tolerance to dietary antigens
3. the role of immune system in controlling viral pathogenesis.
