Research Assistant Professor/Non-Tenure-Track
Non-Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Population Health Sciences
The Department of Biomedical Sciences invites applications for a non-tenure-track research faculty position at the research assistant professor level. We seek individuals with Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degrees with a record of accomplishment in population health research. Applicants must have completed a minimum of two years of post-doctoral or equivalent training in population health.
Ideal candidates should have scientific expertise and interest in one or more of the following areas: epidemiology, population genetics, cancer prevention and control, chronic disease management, health services, health disparities, behavioral sciences, or implementation and dissemination research.
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Contribute to the university’s mission
- Develop and maintain rigorous research programs in population health
- Participate in departmental activities
- Teach and mentor students, fellows and other trainees
