Drs. Angela & Harry Brodie Endowed Professorship in Translational Cancer Research
The Department of Pharmacology and the Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center at University of Maryland School of Medicine seek an established, transcendent Cancer Biologist poised to have a transformative impact on cancer care to apply for the Drs. Angela and Harry Brodie Endowed Professorship in Translational Cancer Research at the level of Associate to Full Professor. We are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in area(s) including hormone action, epigenetics, immuno-oncology, proteogenomics, and/or role of the human microbiome in cancer prevention/progression to expand our research programs in hormone responsive cancers. Successful research programs in these areas will strongly complement existing strengths within the department and the National Cancer Institute Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center to explore avenues of collaboration between both basic and translational researchers within the University of Maryland, School of Medicine.

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and have a strong history of scholarly activity. Preference will be given to those with an independent funded research program and whose presence will catalyze multi-PI initiatives within the department.
