The Department of Molecular Medicine in the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at the UT Health San Antonio invites applications from outstanding scientists and physician-scientist in the areas of tumor microenvironment, oncogenic signaling, cell metabolism, integrative (synthetic) biology, genomics/epigenomics or any combination thereof.  The successful candidate will have an appointment in the Department of Molecular Medicine and extremely qualified individuals may be considered to Co-lead the Cancer Development and Progression program in the Mays Cancer Center, UT Health San Antonio and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Competitive candidates will have an outstanding history of novel contributions to cancer research with a record of current and sustained extramural grant support.  The candidate will be eligible for a generous start up package and open space in a new, modern, and fully equipped research facility conducive to multi discipline research. In addition, the successful candidate may have an appointment to a prestigious endowment from the department.
