Lung Transplant Physician
The University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a skilled lung transplant physician for a full-time, clinical assistant professor position. Faculty candidates must have successfully completed a one-year lung transplant fellowship, be board certified/board eligible in pulmonary and internal medicine, and hold an Alabama medical license. Salary is commensurate with experience.
A pre-employment background investigation is performed on candidates selected for employment. Physicians and other clinical faculty candidates, who will be employed by the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation (UAHSF) or other UAB Medicine entities, must successfully complete a pre-employment drug and nicotine screen to be hired.
