We seek outstanding individuals to a tenure-track faculty position. Competitive candidates have a creative, strong research focus on DNA damage response, repair, or modulation of these events through chromatin organization. Translational impact of the research focus is highly desirable. Prospective candidates must possess a Ph.D. or M.D. Ph.D. degree and have an outstanding track record of original research in molecular DNA damage biology. Ability to raise extramural research funding will be favorably viewed. Laboratory space is located at the Johns Hopkins East Medical Campus in the David H. Koch Cancer Research Building and offers unparalleled resources and opportunities to interact with basic scientists as well as clinical and translational researchers. The position includes a substantial start-up package. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an externally funded research program.
