Tenure/Tenure Track Faculty Position in the Vanderbilt Brain Institute (VBI)

The Vanderbilt Brain Institute (VBI) in conjunction with the School of Medicine Basic Sciences at Vanderbilt University, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position in the broad area of molecular and cellular neuroscience. We are seeking outstanding scientists with an interdisciplinary perspective addressing fundamental questions in neurobiology at a mechanistic level. 

The VBI, under the leadership of Lisa Monteggia, PhD, is a trans-institutional organization that supports neuroscience research, education/training, and outreach across the entire life science and medical research communities. This is a joint recruitment with the School of Medicine Basic Sciences, which houses four academic departments (Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental Biology, Molecular Physiology and Biophysics, or Pharmacology). The departmental home of the selected applicant will be based on relevance to their research interests.
