Assistant Professors in Computational and Systems Biology and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
The School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering (SICE), Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for two faculty positions at the level of assistant professor (tenure track) to begin in Fall 2019, in the areas of Computational and Systems Biology and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Appointments will be made in either the Department of Computer Science or the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering, depending on the expertise of the successful candidate.
Duties will include research, teaching, and service. Applicants should have a demonstrable potential for excellence in research and teaching and a PhD in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, Bioinformatics or a related field expected before August 2019. SICE seeks candidates prepared to contribute to our commitment to diversity and inclusion in higher education. The strongest candidates can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations.
