Postdoctoral Research Associate/Research Support Specialist
Unique career opportunity for a highly motivated scientist to study the mechanisms and develop intervention of cancer metastasis following surgery. Highly qualified candidates without a doctorate can be considered for the position of Research Support Specialist. Inquiry for visiting scholar in anesthesiology/surgery related research is welcome. Join our team to impact the clinical practice with top quality research and innovation.
Recurrence in distant vital organs after surgical removal of primary tumors represents the main cause of death. We study the effects of anesthesia and surgery on cancer metastasis in preclinical animal models and the underlying mechanisms. Results from our research would provide a robust evidence-based rational for change of clinical practice to reduce the recurrence after surgical resection of primary tumors.
