Generous salary and laboratory support will be provided for a minimum of four years and substantial long-term support will be available to enhance the individual’s peer-reviewed research funding. Outstanding laboratory and core facilities in animal and cell imaging, genomics (including single cell sequencing), flow and mass cytometry, among others, are available at CHLA and USC.

CHLA is a premier pediatric teaching hospital affiliated with USC since 1932, and the CCCBD is the pediatric component of the National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated USC-Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. The CCCBD is one of the largest and top-ranked pediatric hematology-oncology programs in the U.S. The CCCBD has been continuously ranked by the U.S. News & World Report in the top ten pediatric cancer programs every year since the rankings were launched in 2008. CHLA continues to build on its partnership with USC, which is the oldest private research university in the Western U.S. and among the top universities in the nation. In 2017, the U.S. News & World Report ranked USC among the top 21 public and private universities in the nation and the USC Norris among the top 15 hospitals in the United States for cancer care.

Academic appointment through USC Keck School of Medicine is available at a level appropriate to training and experience.
