YALE UNIVERSITY TENURE-TRACK FACULTY OPENING
The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Yale University invites applications for a non-tenured, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. We seek a creative scholar in the broad area of fluid mechanics, including thermal sciences and soft matter. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, and an outstanding record of research that demonstrates originality in addressing significant questions in the field. We expect the successful candidate to establish an active research group, be an interactive member of the faculty, participate in interdisciplinary research and training, and excel in regular graduate and undergraduate teaching of the mechanical engineering curriculum.
