FACULTY POSITIONS, RESEARCH DIVISION, DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGY, COLLEGE OF MEDICINE, UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO The Research Division of the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago seeks to hire outstanding scientists at the open rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professors. Candidates must have a PhD in biological sciences or biomedical-related field (e.g. cell biology, cancer biology, physiology, molecular biology) and postdoctoral training. Competitive applicants will have shown potential for developing or having an independent research program, including a record of publishing manuscripts in quality journals. The field of research is not restricted; however, candidates should have a research focus that fits well with the existing strengths in the Department and College of Medicine in terms of biological mechanisms, methodological approach or opportunities for translation. The Research Division currently has strengths in prostate cancer, non-coding RNAs, carcinogenesis and chemoprevention, advanced tissue imaging and biomarker development.
