The department of Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a qualified candidate for a Research Associate Position in Dr. Sanjay Awasthi’s laboratory. The successful candidate will need more than 10 years research experience in life sciences. Cancer biology, Immunology or related field, experience in drug discovery in the fields of immunology and/ or cancer immunotherapy.
Significant expertise within vivo and in vitro screening and validation assays in cancer immunotherapy is required. Expertise in T cell biology, preferentially effector and/or Regulatory T cells, as well as experience with animal welfare and animal care. Experience with a variety of in-vivo and ex-vivo models of various diseases specific focus on cancer immunotherapy is strongly preferred.
