Postdoctoral Fellow - Developmental Genetics of Gametogenesis, Fertilization and Early Embryogenesis
Developmental Genetics of Gametogenesis, Fertilization and Early Embryogenesis
A postdoctoral fellow is sought to investigate molecular mechanisms used by germ cell-specific factors to promote spermatogenesis in males and folliculogenesis in females to ensure fertilization and sustain pre-implantation development. These studies are carried out in mice and involve a wide range of molecular, cellular, and genetic experimental approaches including high resolution live-imaging, gene editing, mouse transgenesis and bioinformatics. A strong background in molecular biology and a keen interest in cell/developmental biology are required. Ideal candidates will be trained in current DNA/RNA methodologies and have less than 5 years' of postdoctoral experience.
Please e-mail a current curriculum vitae and bibliography; a statement of research interests and long-term career goals; and arrange for three letters of reference to be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
