Developmental Genetics of Gametogenesis, Fertilization and Early Embryogenesis

A postdoctoral fellow is sought to investigate molecular mechanisms used by germ cell-specific factors to promote spermatogenesis in males and folliculogenesis in females to ensure fertilization and sustain pre-implantation development. These studies are carried out in mice and involve a wide range of molecular, cellular, and genetic experimental approaches including high resolution live-imaging, gene editing, mouse transgenesis and bioinformatics.
