Postdoctoral Research Associate on Polymer Chemistry/Cancer Therapy

A postdoc position is open in the interdisciplinary research area of polymer chemistry and cancer therapy in Dr. Hongjun Liang’s laboratory at the School of Medicine, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC). The laboratory seeks a highly motivated and productive individual with strong knowledge and expertise in polymer chemistry. Successful candidate will have a recent Ph.D. in either Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or other closely related fields. Prior research experience in “living”/controlled polymerization (in particular ring-opening polymerization), drug delivery, and/or microbiology is highly desirable, but applicants who have strong academic preparation and a track-record of accomplishment in related areas will be considered.
