Feinberg Fellows Program - Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
The Feinberg Fellows Program at Northwestern University School of Medicine is specifically designed to recruit the most talented early career scientists to Feinberg School of Medicine immediately after graduation from either graduate school, or medical school, or both. The Program provides especially outstanding early-career investigators support to establish small, independent research groups. By providing a nurturing environment during their most creative years, the Program allows Fellows to become independent leaders in their field more rapidly than possible through traditional postdoctoral training. The Feinberg Fellows Program is interested in candidates pursuing scientific problems broadly focused in nucleic acid biochemistry. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, transcriptional regulation, chromatin biochemistry, nuclear organization, genome instability, DNA replication and repair, epigenetics, metabolism, and computational biology.
Candidates must be nominated by either their departmental chair or institute directors and must be in their final year of studies prior to graduation. Applications sent directly by the candidate are not accepted. Nomination letters and the candidate’s C.V. should be sent to Ali Shilatifard (firstname.lastname@example.org) by December 1, 2018.
