TENURED OR TENURE-TRACK PROFESSOR IN HUMAN EVOLUTIONARY BIOLOGY

Position Description:  The Department of Human Evolutionary Biology seeks to appoint a tenured or tenure-track professor in the field of human biology, potentially with expertise in physiology, anatomy, paleoanthropology, life-history and/or neurobiology. We are interested in candidates who emphasize an evolutionary approach and whose interests complement or strengthen the existing research in our department or other affiliated departments at Harvard including Organismic and Evolutionary Biology, Anthropology, and Psychology, as well as the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2019. The appointee will teach and advise at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The department values diversity among its faculty, and we are committed to building a culturally diverse intellectual community.
