Biomedical Faculty Position Announcement
The Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Tyler invites applications to join the faculty in the Fisch College of Pharmacy. Appointments are for 12-month, tenure-track positions at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, student-centered academic Pharm.D. program. Courses are taught in a team-based learning environment that values personal and professional growth and the development of each student. The curriculum emphasizes self-directed learning, critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities include contributing to the development and delivery of the biomedical sciences component of the curriculum, advising students, and service activities. In addition, all faculty are expected to engage in research and scholarship.
Successful candidates will have earned a Ph.D. or comparable degree in a field related to biomedical sciences. A strong background in biomedical research and scholarship is expected along with a desire to engage in a collaborative research. The ideal candidate will have an established record of extramural funding in the biomedical sciences.
Start date for the position is flexible. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
