ASSISTANT PROFESSOR TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION
CENTER FOR MOLECULAR MEDICINE, UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA
The University of Georgia announces a tenure-track faculty position in the Center for Molecular Medicine (CMM) (http://cmm.uga.edu). The CMM is dedicated to better understanding the molecular and cellular basis of human disease and translating this into new diagnostics and therapeutics. To advance this mission, we are seeking applications from outstanding investigators at the Assistant Professor level.
Candidates with interests in the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- molecular, cellular and developmental models for human disease
- regenerative medicine, tissue repair and tissue engineering
- stem cell biology
- drug discovery in human disease
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent), at least two years relevant postdoctoral research experience, an outstanding publication record, and a well-developed research plan. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vibrant, extramurally funded research program. An attractive start-up package with highly competitive conditions of employment will be offered.
