Description: The Department of Biological Chemistry and Pharmacology in the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate will join a vibrant, collaborative and collegial department at The Ohio State University. The successful applicant will have an established research program in structural biology, with a particular emphasis on cryoelectron microscopy and will complement existing departmental and university strengths in RNA biology, chromosome biology, neurological disorders and metabolism. 


Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. and postdoctoral research experience. A proven record of research accomplishments in structural biology and a strong publication record are required. Applicants at the Associate and Full Professor levels should have current federal funding for their research program. Applicants with programs in cryoelectron microscopy will have ready access to a brand new facility with 200 and 300 keV instruments (Glacios and Krios) housed at the Center for Electron Microscopy Analysis (https://cemas.osu.edu/), and to the Ohio Supercomputer Center (https://www.osc.edu/) for computation.
