Scientific Researcher/Senior Scientific Researcher, Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology Department

Description

We are seeking a talented Scientific Researcher/Senior Scientific Researcher to join our group in Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology Department. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to contribute to drug discovery for ion channels, GPCRs and transporter targets, from identification of hits to identification of clinical candidates. Specifically, the individual will be responsible for developing/executing rigorous electrophysiology, cell-based assays, and biochemical assays. The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with multi-disciplinary project teams, collaborate on lead-finding, lead optimization and mechanism of action studies.

Who You Are

  • BS/MS degree in biological science
  • Sound understanding of structure-function and pharmacology of ion channels, GPCRs and transporters
  • Excellent skills in electrophysiology, with at least 5-year, hands-on experience; or experience in working with GPCR and transporter targets
  • A proven track record in supporting structure-activity relationship study and conducting MOA studies
  • Strong analytic, problem-solving ability and time management skills
  • Highly motivated, strong interpersonal and communication skills
