Responsibilities
The main objective of this role is to perform order processing functions such as picking, packing and shipping critical clinical trial finished goods (CTFG) through the K401 Zone-1 Distribution Hub to domestic and international Clinical Test Sites, depots and hubs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload, put-a-way, pick, pack and ship CTFG's. This includes interaction with warehouse management system via a hand held RF device. Pack orders following strict validated packing requirements
  • Comply with FDA, GMP, GDP, DOT, IATA, TSA, C-TPAT and OSHA requirements
  • Ensure training plan is current and complete
  • Understand and accurately follow corporate and departmental SOP's, local and federal laws and regulations, Lilly RedBook, CIA and operational qualifications related to operator role
  • Actively adhere and participate safety programs and policies within the area of responsibility.
  • Constantly look for areas of improvement in safety, compliance, data accuracy and productivity

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Additional Skills/Preferences
  • Warehouse experience including previous experience operating powered industrial trucks
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
  • Willingness to be flexible and willing to be cross-trained to perform multiple assignments
  • Willingness to work in a chilled environment (5c)
  • Willingness to work overtime with minimal notice
  • Demonstrated good work attendance history
  • Demonstrated high productivity rate in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizing/multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated strong computer skills
  • Demonstrated warehouse management systems experience
  • Standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and bending are required
  • Positive attitude

Language Requirements: Must speak fluent English

Additional Information
  • Work outside of core hours may be required to support the portfolio across the globe
  • This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
