Chair, Department of Neurological Surgery

Washington University School of Medicine, seeks nominations and applications for the Chair of the Department of Neurological Surgery. Since 1919, the Washington University Department of Neurosurgery has had a strong tradition of clinical excellence, outstanding research and dynamic teaching. The Department has a long and storied history in educating the finest neurosurgeons and is a national leader in the transformation of state-of-the-art technology and scientific discovery into innovative patient diagnostic tests and surgical therapies. With one of the most comprehensive neurosurgical programs in the region and in the nation, the department's neurosurgeons provide surgical care at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

The Search Committee, co-chaired by Dr. David Holtzman, Chair of Neurology, and Dr. Regis O'Keefe, Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery, invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for the position of Chair, Department of Neurological Surgery, at Washington University School of Medicine. Drs. Holtzman and O'Keefe and the Search Committee are partnering in this search with Russell Reynolds Associates; Charles Falcone, MD and Ben Grover, co-lead the Russell Reynolds Associates team.
