The Department of Biological Sciences, University of New Orleans invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR.
We seek an Organismal Biologist working in the area of vertebrate functional morphology. Successful candidates should have a research program that complements that of current faculty and contributes to our Integrative Biology PhD program. We are particularly interested in individuals that integrate research on organism function with behavioral or sensory ecology. Candidates with existing or future projects that involve local or regional habitats and aquatic organisms are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience. Teaching experience is preferred. Successful candidates will develop extramurally funded research programs, direct graduate students, and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
