The Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine and the Department of Cell Biology at the New York University Langone Medical Center invite applications for tenure-track positions at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels. We seek applicants with exceptional records of achievement to join our highly interdisciplinary faculty (www.skirball.med.nyu.edu). Candidates with interdisciplinary and creative research programs that synergize with and bridge our existing programs in cell, development and stem cell biology, cellular neurobiology, and immunology are encouraged to apply. We also particularly encourage applications from candidates whose research incorporates emerging technologies in quantitative cell biology (including Cryo-EM, organoid culture, and in vivo imaging).
The NYU Langone Medical Center will support new faculty with generous start-up packages, excellent research laboratory space, and state-of-the-art core facilities. Successful candidates are expected to initiate and maintain highly innovative research programs that complement the collaborative environment at the Skirball Institute and throughout the NYU research community. New faculty members will hold a primary academic appointment in the Department of Cell Biology and will participate in the NYU School of Medicine graduate programs.
