Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology
The Biology Department at Reed College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2019-20 academic year. We seek applicants with a PhD (required), and post-doctoral experience (preferred) in integrative animal behavior. Teaching responsibilities include an upper level lecture/lab course in Animal Behavior, a seminar course in the candidate’s area of expertise, participation in the team-taught introductory biology course and advising senior thesis research projects. Available facilities for research with students include a standard equipment for molecular biology, histology, microscopy, and hormone analysis, as well as an African Cichlid aquatics facility.
