The Department of Cell and Molecular Physiology at Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine (SSOM) seeks applicants for multiple tenure-track positions at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR and PROFESSOR level.

We seek junior and senior colleagues to build on our strengths in cellular and systems physiology. Departmental faculty are actively engaged in research on cardiovascular disease, aging, RNA biology, metabolism, proteomics, molecular neuroscience, the cytoskeleton, and biophysics. Departmental research areas, resources, and facilities are described here: www.stritch.luc.edu/depts/physio. In addition to recruitment in basic science, we encourage Physician-Scientist applications as part of an Institutional Initiative to aggressively expand translational research in partnership with Loyola University Medical Center.
