Within the framework of a program on muscular dystrophies, GENETHON, a leading organisation in gene therapy for rare genetic diseases is initiating a project using the CRISPR/ Cas9 technologies and entitled “Giant editing: genome editing for large genes in muscular dystrophies”. GENETHON, is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral fellow. Position is available for a period of three years
GENETHON, is a structure that integrates research, preclinical and clinical development notably thanks to its state-of-the-art platforms. Inserm supports its research activities.
Candidates must have a PhD in biology/biotechnology/genetics, solid background in cell and molecular biology, interest in translational research of genetic diseases, good publication record and excellent references, and be fluent in English with a maximum 3 years of post-doctoral experience. A previous experience on gene editions is preferred.

Temporary 3 years position, in Evry (91), France, starting date: beginning of January 2019
