Post Doctoral Fellow in RPE Stem Cell Biology
The Neural Stem Cell Institute is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to characterize Retinal Pigment Epithelium (RPE) cells using single cell transcriptomic analysis and to generate markers for subtypes of RPE cells including the RPE stem cell. Candidates with a PhD or equivalent, a strong interest in vision research and a background in Molecular and Cell Biology and next-generation sequencing are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will receive unique interdisciplinary training in stem cell biology, bioinformatics and RPE cell biology. This is an immediate opening for a postdoctoral position with long-term funding. Experience with RNA-seq analysis, cell culture, and molecular genetic techniques is desirable.
