The Research Institute of Photonics & Quantum Sciences in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Heriot-Watt University is seeking to appoint experimentalists at up to Full Professor grade, whose research complements and enhances our existing thematic coverage and allows us to build capacity in priority areas such as integrated photonics, quantum technology and novel materials. In particular, we will prioritise applications from researchers who can demonstrate an ability to capitalise on the recent infrastructural and equipment investments in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences cleanroom.
Across the themes represented in the Institute we invite applications in two priority areas of Quantum Technology and Integrated Photonics.
Applicants holding a nationally or internationally awarded fellowship, or preparing an application for such, are encouraged to apply.
You will have a PhD in a related subject together with a track record of internationally high profile and high impact research in a related discipline
