Postdoctoral fellow: single cell analysis of vascular and immune cell responses in tumor and autoimmune pathogenesis
Opportunities are available for outstanding candidates to apply state of the art mass cytometry and scRNA-seq to fundamental issues in vascular specialization, angiogenesis and control of immune cell trafficking in mice and humans. Projects include mass cytometry and molecular and genetic studies of stem cell precursors for immune angiogenesis; fate mapping and function in the vascular response to inflammation and tumor angiogenesis; and discovery of transcriptional mechanisms underlying immune and endothelial programming.
Recent PhD or MD & eligibility for fellowship support from NIH training grants or from the country of origin are required. Individuals with experience in bioinformatics (transcriptomics, epigenomics, computational sciences), immunology and/or in vascular developmental biology are encouraged to apply. Email CV and letters to Eugene.butcher (at) Stanford.edu.
