Involved in planning & conducting experiments & analyzing data/results to dvlp new products, processes or commercial applics. Carryout experiments independently. Display technical excellence in lab & transformation methods. Perform lab procedures, prep plant stock & media, propagate plant, write SOPs; Conduct assays following protocols; report results &/or data on each experiment; Apply new technologies to current experiments &/or projects; Write scientific manuscripts, patent applics & research reports; Reqmts: Ph.D or equiv in Agriculture, Agronomy, or relevant scientific field. In the alternative, Master's Deg or equiv in Agriculture, Agronomy, or Science rltd field plus 1 yr pre/post deg research &/or lab exp; or a Bachelor's deg or equiv in science rltd field w/ 5 plus yrs of direct exp in job or rltd research exp is acceptable.
