The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications from outstanding scholars for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy. The Department is currently engaged in the following research programs: (a) Neuroscience and (b) Cancer Biology.
- Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree with post-doctoral research experience preferably in neuroscience / glia biology / developmental biology / stem cell biology.
- Excellence in teaching and programmatic research is expected for senior appointments.
- Evidence of excellence in research to be demonstrated by high-quality research papers in leading journals in the field and through strong letters of references of high international standing.
The successful appointee must be able to compete for independent research funding and is required to participate in undergraduate level teaching of medical and science students. Appointees are expected to collaborate with research team in NUS Medical Science Cluster (http://nusmedicine.nus.edu.sg/medical-sciences-cluster/research/) and hospitals for translational research and supervise Graduate Students.
Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
