Professorial salary will be from £66,084 per annum plus £2,923 London

The Centre for Host Microbiome Interactions of the Dental Institute at King’s is embarking on an ambitious programme of expansion and is recruiting up to four academic positions ranging from lecturer to professor.  Applicants should have excellent research track records in studying microbial pathogens and/or biofilm communities, the mucosal immune response in health and disease, and/or the analysis, integration and systems biology of large metagenomic/ host data sets. Appointees will be actively encouraged to collaborate with colleagues from other Faculties within Kings - to guide researchers and research students and to teach on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes -  and partnerships in London, including the Crick Institute.

The selection process will include a presentation, meetings with PIs and a panel interview.
