Assistant Professor (Tenure Track)
The Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) (www.kumc.edu), located in metropolitan Kansas City, invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Applicants must have postdoctoral research experience, and be working in the area of developmental biology, broadly defined. Investigators who are researching kidney, cardiovascular, cancer biology, or developmental neurobiology are especially encouraged to apply. Basic science research at KUMC occurs in a highly collaborative environment with outstanding core facilities, and substantial startup support will be provided. Applicants will be expected to establish a vigorous, extramurally funded research program and participate in a team-taught, human gross anatomy course for medical students.
