The division is comprised of sales and marketing professionals who are passionate about their role in bringing Merck's prescription medicines, vaccines, and other medical products to our customers worldwide.  Reporting to the Director, PatientAccess, Oncology, the primaryresponsibility of the Coordinator is to provide administrative support to the OncologyBusiness Unit in the areasof market access  and policy/ stakeholder relations and as well as support to  ressources development  and  submission coordination. The Coordinator will provide general administrative support includingbudget tracking, purchase order management, sponsorship requests, expense report support, traveland meeting coordination, as required by the Director and the team. The Coordinator will assist in the organization of consultation meetings with HCPs and external consultants. This includes coordination and collaboration with various functions internally (field patient access team, access planning, HEOR, engagement bureau) and externally (Travel Agency, Global Expert Management & Strategy - GEMS).   The Coordinator will assist in the preparation of project plans to support the development, approvaland circulation of access/policy resourcesand submission-related materials.This requires coordination and collaboration amongstvarious functions internally(medical, legal, access planning, field patient access team, regulatory, drug submissions) and externally (translation services, vendors, consultants).  The Coordinator willassist and support the OncologyAccess Planning team and Drug Submissions Coordinator with the preparation of drug submissions to HTAs (pCODR,INESSS), private and public drug plans.This includes proof-reading of materials, preparation of binders,organizing photocopies, verifying documentquality, preparing letters,binder covers, indexes,etc., or in preparation & transmission of electronic submissions.  Main Responsibilities
  • Provide general support to the Director, Oncology - Patient Access and the team (e.g.: make travel arrangements, prepare expense reports,coordinate meetings, assemble confidential information, prepareagendas and format correspondence, etc...)  
  • Prepare sponsorship documentation for field colleagues (approval forms, sponsorship agreements, FCPA approval forms), follow-up with internal approvals, as required, and with requesting organizations, and submit payment requests
  • Collaborate in the organization of consultation meetings with access colleagues, Travel Agency, GEMS (Global) and Engagement Bureau colleagues. Preparation of participant lists, Save-the-Date messaging, consultation agreements, and expense reimbursement forms.
  • Maintain, track and communicate departmental budget.
  • OpenPOs, approve invoices,perform accruals, and process payment requests in SAP
  • Coordinate and collaborate amongst various functions internally (medical, legal, access planning, field patientaccess team, regulatory, drug submissions) and externally (translation services,vendors, consultants) in the development, approval and circulation of access/policy resources and submission-related materials.
  • Prepare access/policy resources for circulation through ZINC, route throughcirculation, track progressand maintain the accompanying filing system.
  • Support the reimbursement submissions process including proof-reading of materials, preparation of binders, organizing photocopies, verifying document quality,preparing letters, binder covers, indexes,etc., or in preparation &transmission of electronic submissions.


  • High school diploma, a DEC in Office Technology or its equivalent would be an asset.
  • More than five years of relevantexperience in the pharmaceutical industry; directly in Market Access is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledgeof Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
  • Knowledge of ZINC and SAP/COMET is an asset.
  • Language:  Bilingual (French and English), written and oral.
