Postdoctoral Fellow Positions - Ischemic Heart Diseases/Metabolic Diseases
Two postdoctoral positions are immediately available in the Department of Integrative Medical Sciences at the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), Rootstown, Ohio, USA. The PIs are very well-funded by NIH grants and their labs are very well equipped.
The research focus areas are: the molecular mechanism of cardiovascular diseases, metabolic syndrome, liver diseases and tissue regeneration. Multi-discipline approaches are applied in these research areas.
The applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree, research experiences in molecular and cell biology, in vivo mouse model studies, and good oral and written communication skills.
Postdoctoral fellows who have research experience in studying lipid and glucose metabolism, vascular biology or cardiovascular regeneration are highly encouraged to apply.
