Targeted Areas:

Theoretical & Computational Molecular Science; Innovative theoretical research on properties and functions of condensed matter and/or molecular systems.

Life & Coordinaton-Complex Molecular Science; Experimental researches on design, synthesis, and characterization of coordination complexes toward development of their novel chemical properties and/or innovative functions.

The successful candidates are expected to serve as a principal investigator of a research group with the support of competitive start-up funds and laboratory spaces. They are also expected to commit to teaching and supervising graduate students as a faculty of SOKENDAI (The Graduate University for Advanced Studies).Further information is available via e-mail (
