US Marketing Leader, Respiratory  

ThisDirector level position will be responsible for leading Merck’s US Respiratoryfranchise, including Dulera and Asmanex.  

 Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading all aspects of strategy andplanning. 
  • Providingleadership over the Respiratory extended team including market research,marketing communications, managed markets, etc.
  • Collaboratingwith Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Manufacturing, GlobalMarketing, Merck Research Labs, policy, regulatory, legal/compliance teamsand other relevant stakeholders to optimize performance.
  • Effectivelycommunicating with senior management to ensure organizational alignmentaround the product strategy, forecasts, and resource needs.
  • Leadingand developing a team of direct reports
  • Creatingand achieving net sales and income forecasts for the RespiratoryFranchise. 
  • Thisposition will be based out of Upper Gwynedd, reporting to Tom Loose, AVP, PrimaryCare and Womens Health Marketing.



    • Required:  BA/BS   
    • Preferred: MBA


    • Minimum 6 years in marketing, marketing support, or US market access with at least 3 years in brand marketing.
    • Proven experience in effectively leading cross-functional teams 
    • Strong business acumen 


    • 5+ years in marketing at the AD and/or Director level
    • Knowledge of the Respiratory Market
    • In-depth knowledge of the US market
    • Significant experience in or working with sales organizations
    • Marketing Communications and Market Research experience
