POSTDOCTORAL POSITION – ALBANY MEDICAL COLLEGE
The Department of Regenerative & Cancer Cell Biology at the Albany Medical College invites applications for a Post-doctoral Fellow position with a focus on disease modeling in genetically-engineered mouse systems. Research in the Department has a strong emphasis on the tissue microenvironment with a specific focus on cancer growth & metastasis, wound repair, regenerative biology and inflammation & fibrosis. The Fellow will be involved in a program designed to conduct in vivo investigations on the tissue response to injury emphasizing outcomes assessments of targeted interventional therapies. Responsibilities include performance of procedures, mouse husbandry, breeding, development of IACUC protocols, tissue analysis and preparation of cell lines. Qualifications include a PhD, MD, or DVM degree; prior mouse research experience is required to be considered for this position. Application deadline is June 30, 2018.
