The MRL IT Engineering group is seeking a highly motivated individual responsible for the technical architecture and implementation of the Transactional Data Integration Platform for the MRL division. This platform will be responsible for interfacing data between MRL systems, supporting analytics data needs, and improving data utilization and quality across MRL. In this role, you will work closely with the business architects, system technical owners, Master Data Management team, and various IT platforms across our IT hubs.

 

Major responsibilities may include but are not limited to;

  • Mature technical vision of data integration platform and components.
  • Integrate data integration hub architecture with key MRL programs and systems.
  • Work closely with key analytics programs to ensure data is ingested into data integration hub and appropriate big data technologies supporting various analytics needs.
  • Define and own system architecture for data integration hub.
  • Ensure data integrations as a service functionality matured to support key integrations for MRL.
  • Partner with key platform teams to develop an integrated solution.
  • Lead development team across IT hubs for platform enablement.
  • Develop understanding of MRL data domains and systems.
  • Develop long term roadmap for platform development and integration.
Qualifications

Education:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
Required:

  • A minimum 5 years of implementation experience using integrations tools and technologies.
  • Architecture and system implementation leadership skills.
  • Experience leading medium and large teams of onsite and offsite developers.
  • Agile and lean product development mindset.
  • Experience with software design patterns, architecture specifications and full software lifecycle.
  • Experience with SDLC documentation principles and practice.
  • Interest in newest technologies and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent communication skills that cross language/culture/geographic boundaries.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Skills and proven experience in the driving data integration and data warehousing/data lake.
Preferred:

  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical related experience.
  • Experience with Informatica Powercenter or Data Integration Hub technologies.
  • Big data and data warehousing skills
  • Support of data analytics programs
  • Data quality tools and process experience
