Under the leadership of the AHIT Strategy Realization Leader, the role will work as a member of the Animal Health (AH) IT Strategy Realization and Supply Chain Team. He/she will be working with Headquarters Senior Leaders to support and maintain communications, audio visual, client support, webcasting, teleconferencing based in Madison, NJ office. Under the guidance of the  Strategy Lead the Communications Specialist will be responsible for working with senior business stakeholders to both shape new communications opportunities and drive adoption of existing solutions. Major responsibilities may include but are not limited to; 
  • Change Management - Adopt high quality change management practices with customers and stakeholders, and implementing solutions that are sustainable. Be a role model of the Merck Leadership Behaviors.
  • Relationships - Build exceptional relationships with stakeholders which are focused on meeting the business need as well as strong partnerships with platform groups, data science competency, and others in support of Analytics objectives.
  • Global - Ensure that the solutions are aligned with AHIT platforms and supports AH business strategy. 
Qualifications

Position Qualifications:Education Minimum Requirement: 
  • A bachelor degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or relevant work experience. 

Required Experience and Skills: 
  • 2-3 years of Customer Service Based Roles
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience within Client Support Role
  • Hands-on experience working with audio/visual, webcasting and communications tool and Merck standard systems - Crestron, Cisco Tanberg and TMS 
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, ever-changing environment where adaptability is highly valued.
