This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the research laboratory of Dr. Myron Ignatius.
Performing advanced and routine molecular biology techniques in the laboratory including mini, midi and maxi preps, western blot analysis, experience with proteomics and or mass spectrometry, cloning (gateway cloning), human /mammalian cell culture (lentivirus, retrovirus, siRNA handling and use), transgenesis, microinjection, transplantation using zebrafish (training provided), will assist in feeding and maintenance of the zebrafish facility, imaging using confocal microscope, mouse xenograft transplantation experience, maintaining a laboratory note book.
Collecting, analyzing and preparing data for papers, grants and presentations.
Laboratory administrative duties as assigned.
Master’s degree with two (2) years of related experience.
Experience using Microsoft office, GraphPad Prism software. Photoshop, Flowcytometry experience, experience with animal models and cell culture. Experience with imaging. Ability to analyze data.
