Postdoctoral position – in vivo electrophysiology
The Masmanidis Lab at UCLA is seeking a postdoc to study neural dynamics associated with learning and performing movements motivated by natural rewards or drugs of abuse. The project will integrate large-scale recording tools and optogenetic perturbation approaches to examine the computational properties and behavioral contribution of different cell types and neural pathways. Applicants should have training in neuroscience or a related field, with experience in single-unit recordings and analysis, and rodent behavioral testing. The lab is comprised of a highly collaborative team spanning neuroscience, engineering, and physics.
To apply, please send your CV, names of two references and a cover letter describing your research interests to Sotiris Masmanidis (firstname.lastname@example.org).
