Molecular Neurobiology/Synaptic Plasticity
A postdoctoral position is available to study molecular mechanisms that regulate neural circuit connectivity and performance in the model organism C. elegans. Our research utilizes a multidisciplinary approach including imaging/microscopy, optogenetics, and electrophysiology. The successful candidate will have an appreciation for the strength of model organism genetics and a strong desire to pursue studies using genetic and functional approaches.
PhD required. Candidates with prior experience in electrophysiology and/or C. elegans genetics preferred. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience as determined by NIH guidelines.
