Postdoctoral positions available in the Department of Pharmacology, University of Minnesota Medical School to investigate various diseases associated with innate immune dysfunction (such as neurological, metabolic and cardiovascular diseases). Research experience/training in immunology is most highly desirable. Demonstrated research publication is required. The research team exploits multiple technologies, including biochemical, molecular, cellular, immunological, imaging and behavioral approaches, to identify new signaling/regulatory complexes (including non-coding RNAs) in innate immune cells involved in disease initiation and progression, and to explore new therapeutics such as drug/compound screening.
